It is Christmas night now, so Merry Christmas to all of you.
I remenbered that at last week's class we were discussing " what does Christmas mean to you " . I've read that some of the western press who were amused that " Asian people are celebrating Christmas " are unhappy now. They say that " Asian people don't know the meaning of the Christmas. They think Christmas is just a reason for crazy shopping. "
For western people, Christmas is really a holiday and is a day for family gathering, kind of like Chinese New Year. However, let's just take a specific look in Taiwan, Chistmas does not mean so much. As for me, it doesn't mean so much either, but it is a still good day to send cards to friends. Since I often forget their birthday, it is a good way to show my care for them ( laugh) . So on Christmas days I won't go to church, not sure will have a dinner with family, maybe send some cards to friends, definitely will buy something. That is how I often celebrate Christmas and, I guess, what Christmas means to me.
And, someone keep saying that Dec.25th is not only Jesus Christ's birthday but also our Constitution's birthday !

History Report
O-oh! I almost forget to revise my blog!
Now I’m writing my history report which is due newt Wednesday. This work ask us to introduce one place’s history and there monuments where we were assigned before. Our group were assigned to do the 三峽 part, and I have to introduce the 李梅樹紀念館 .
The museum is not far from the school, you can take the Bus 910 at the back door and get of at the 安溪國小 stop. This museum is small but warm, since the museum is run by the artist 李梅樹’s family . The way they guide the paintings are different from the guide who has no relationship with the paintings. Actually, there are the models of the paintings!
The museum is worth visiting and I hope I can visit the museum once one day.

Feeling Bad.
I know that I have left here about three weeks. I am feeling bad to see that it is so vacant here. Not just saying something pretty, but that is exactly how I feel. I feel like I broke a promise, a promise to myself. I have told myself to write at least once a week and to keep the blog fresh. I did want to. But I fall to do it.

Homework 3
Revise My CEEP
I think my level is about B2.
Goals:
I still keep my goals that present in Homework2 and add no more new goals since that I think my old goals are very realistic.
Actions:
Except those methods I wrote before, I think I should visit "Randall's ESL Cyber Listening Lab" ( http://www.esl-lab.com ) regularly.And I think that maybe I will read "Advanced " sometimes.
It may seems that my revising is short and nothing. It is because that this is based on the old CEEP and I think the old one is quite completely and realistic. I think I know well about myself.

Surprise !
I‘m very surprise to see my name at “The Editor's Choices of the 2nd Week” list! I have no idea about this! I thought my performance is just ok since I didn’t write regularly before ……

I have visited some of my classmates' blogs recently.They are very diligent! Two weeks passed and they have written many articles! I think I have to discipline myself in writing this blog.
My Comprehensive English Enhancement Plan for 2007-2008 School Year
Specific Goals
1. I want to improve my English writing ability – at least that I can present some nice, neat essays.
2. I hope I can speak English fluently just like using my mother language.
3. I hope I can think in English.
Specific Actions to Reach the Goals
1. I will try to keep the habit writing this blog in English at least once a week.
2. Nothing more, nothing new, but just practice speaking in English more. I believe that practice makes perfect!
Plus
I think I should attend every class and, preview and review the textbook before and after the class. Enjoy the class!

Set Up !
My English teacher asked the class to set up a blog to record about our English learning things. I don’ t have to present this blog in English, but I still do so to improve my poor English writing abilities.
This blog assignment makes me think of one of my English homework when I was a freshman in senior high school. My English teacher that time ( we called her 寶貴老師 ) made us write “daily journal” , or simply “DJ” , every week. We wrote our daily life, movies, music…on the DJ, and we shared these things with two other students who from the teacher’s two other class. Yes, we actually were making pen pals!
That is one of my sweet memories and I enjoyed writing in English during the year. I think I will have a good time writing this blog the following year.
